Frieze London Highlights, 2025

london

Introduction

Victoria Miro is delighted to participate in Frieze London. A focus on self-portraiture and figuration, particularly as a space for exploring interior states, unites many of the works on view. Highlights include new drawings by Barbara Walker, an exciting new addition to the gallery roster, a recent sculpture by Wangechi Mutu, new works by Celia Paul and Saskia Colwell, and significant historical self-portraits by Paula Rego.

Featured works also celebrate our autumn exhibitions, including a painting by Kudzanai-Violet Hwami, coinciding with her current show, Incantations, and self-portraits by Chantal Joffe, whose exhibition I Remember opens in London on 14 November. Paintings by Tidawhitney Lek, Emil Sands and Khalif Tahir Thompson offer a preview of their upcoming three-person exhibition, The Stories We Tell, which will also be on view in our London galleries from November.

Additionally, the gallery will present a selection of works by Grayson Perry, including his monumental tapestry The Story of My Life, 2024, currently on view in Delusions of Grandeur at the Wallace Collection, and a new ceramic work Forty Years of Art Trends in a Palatable Form, 2025.
